Project Dashboards

Developing and maintaining Dashboards through the course of a Project have aided me in demonstrating the value a BIM team brings to the Construction process. The images below are the Dashboard that my team and I created for the Braddock project, a mixed use construction in Alexandria, VA.

The first step was to define the Categories of Clashes and assign a Cost to each of them. The three Categories defined were Field adjust, Model Adjust and Major change (Require an RFI or change in design). The Clash data from each week were assigned a percentage for each of the Categories and tabulated for the tenure of the Project. The images below show the pattern that the clashes followed for Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project and the total Estimated Savings.

A total of 21 different Clash tests were ran on Navisworks between different construction systems namely Architecture, Structure and the MEPF trades.

The data from each week was tabulated and the images below show the pattern that the Clash results followed for the tenure of the project.
